Transcription
EasySub uses advanced speech recognition to convert your audio into accurate captions. Select your audio source directly from the Premiere Pro timeline (choose specific tracks like A1, A2, A3) or upload an external audio file. Set your In/Out points to transcribe a specific section, or process the full sequence. Choose from Hebrew, Arabic, English, or auto-detect for other languages. The transcription is delivered as perfectly timed captions, ready to import directly into your Premiere Pro timeline.
Caption Settings
Fine-tune how your captions appear with precise control over formatting. Set the maximum number of lines per caption (1–5 lines) to control vertical space, and words per line (1–10 words) to match your video style. Fewer words per line creates a faster, TikTok-style reading experience, while more words creates traditional subtitle pacing. These settings determine how the transcription is intelligently broken into individual caption segments that feel natural when reading.
AI Enhance - Our Secret Weapon
This is what sets EasySub apart from every other transcription tool. Standard transcription achieves around ~70% accuracy, leaving you with errors in names, homophones, grammar, and context. AI Enhance uses advanced language models to analyze your transcription and fix these mistakes automatically - correcting spelling errors, fixing grammar issues, handling homophones (words that sound alike but are spelled differently), and improving overall readability. The result is professional-grade captions with ~99% accuracy. Note: Using AI Enhance consumes 2 minutes per minute of video (1 for transcription + 1 for AI enhancement).
Stretch Captions
Stretch Captions eliminates awkward blank moments between consecutive captions. When enabled, each caption automatically extends to fill the gap until the next caption begins. This creates a smooth, continuous subtitle experience where text is always on screen. Ideal for viewers who rely on captions to follow along, and gives your video a more polished, professional feel without manual timing adjustments.
Remove Punctuation
Take full control over punctuation in your captions. Toggle this feature on to selectively remove specific punctuation marks: colons (:), commas (,), question marks (?), exclamation marks (!), or periods (.). Click each mark to include or exclude it from removal. This is especially useful for social media content like TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts where minimal, clean captions perform better and match the fast-paced viewing style.
Auto Cuts
Automatically detect and remove silent sections from your video, dramatically speeding up your editing workflow. Adjust the silence threshold (0.1–0.6 seconds) to control how much silence is kept - lower values remove more, higher values are more forgiving. Choose from four noise profiles: Studio (quiet recording environment), Speech (default, optimized for voice), Noisy (background noise present), and Aggressive (maximum silence removal). Enable Auto Zooms to automatically add subtle zoom effects at each cut point, giving your video a dynamic, engaging feel without manual keyframing.
Caption History
All your transcriptions are saved automatically to the cloud, accessible anytime from any device. Browse your complete history with search and preview capabilities. For each transcription, you can: re-import captions directly to your Premiere Pro timeline, apply AI Enhance to improve accuracy (even on older transcriptions), enable Stretch Captions, or adjust formatting settings like max lines and words per line - all without re-transcribing. Need different formatting for the same content? Simply edit the settings and re-import with your new preferences. Export any transcription as SRT or XML files for use in other applications.
Minutes System
EasySub uses a minutes-based credit system. Your balance reflects how many minutes of audio you can transcribe. Transcription cost is based on audio duration. AI Enhance has a small additional cost. Stretch Captions is free. Purchase minutes from the Pricing page.
